Additionally our principals are actively involved with community activities.

Mr. Mark Patterson, our principal in charge of Civil Design Services is active in the Kentucky Home Builders Association and active in the local chamber of commerce.

Mr. W. Robert Folsom, PE is active in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Kentucky Geotechnical Engineering Group as its chair and active in the Boy Scouts of America.

Dr. Wayne A. Karem, PE, PG has been an adjunct professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Kentucky and is an advisor to the civil engineering department at the Western Kentucky University. He is also active in the Kentucky Association of Economic Developers and a member of the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Dr. Michael E. Kalinski, PE, RGP is a special consultant to Vector Engineers. Dr. Kalinski is a licensed Professional Engineer and licensed Professional Geophysicist. He is an associate professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Kalinski has over 20 years of experience as a consulting engineer and professor. He has extensive experience in geophysical methods to evaluate subsurface conditions, earthquake engineering and vibration mitigation. He also has extensive experience in geotextiles and landfill design.
