Vector Engineers conducted a geotechnical engineering site characterization, including geotechnical drilling, for relocation of Crittenden Drive. The length of the relocation project along Crittenden Drive was almost 6,000 linear feet. Vector Engineers conducted 31 soil test borings to determine on-site soil conditions and installed 2 cased piezometers to evaluate groundwater conditions. Vector also collected undisturbed samples and bulk samples for further engineering evaluation. The geotechnical engineering consulting consisted of evaluation of the pavement section and subgrade using field CBR tests and evaluation using chemical stabilization. The final design includes chemical stabilization to reduce the roadway section.
